A LADY
My body is a temple
I revere it
So others can find comfort
I am a galaxy
I shall give birth
To thousand stars
But I must know,
My place, in the Universe
I must protect my jewels
Not dangling them in daylight
If stolen, Some blame me
Some take down the thieves
Mad men in disguise
I am judged
If I become powerful
Humility is lacked
I am judged if after thirty
The wedding bells ain’t ringing
Beauty is faded
I can never be
Brought down
For I am a lady
Living the simplest of life.
