The former first lady of the United States of America, Michelle Obama, will having an on-stage discussion about her book, Becoming, on the 3rd of December in London, and guess who will be moderating the on-stage discussion? Yup, you got it! One bottle of Zobo for you. Our dear Chimamanda!
Michelle Obama described the memoir as a deeply personal experience; as it will talk about her roots and how she found her voice, as well as her time in the White House, her public health campaign, and her role as a mother.
This is what Penguin, the publisher, had to say about it:
Reflecting on her memoir, Michelle Obama will invite audiences into her world, chronicling the experiences that have shaped her—from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work to her time spent at the world’s most famous address. With unerring honesty and lively wit, she will recount her triumphs and her disappointments – both public and private – and in candidly recounting moments from her own extraordinary journey, Mrs Obama will also share life lessons learned, and inspire people to become the very best version of themselves.
From interviewing Hillary Clinton to moderating an on-stage discusion with Michelle Obama, Chimamanda is not ready to stop making headlines. We cannot wait for the next event she will be involved in.
Go Chichi!
