On a previous note, we shared steps on how to convert your manuscript using Google Docs. See the steps here.
Now on this article, we’d share another method to convert your manuscript (even a pdf document) to .epub on your computer. The conversion does not require an internet connection but you’d have to download the converter, and that requires an internet connection.
Step 1: Download Calibre from http://calibre-ebook.com/ . It’s FREE. You could read about the app there too. The size is 60mb or so ( Size might vary in Os or app version )
Step 2: Install the App to your Pc. Run it
Step 3: Click the Add Books at the Top-left-corner of the app and add the book you want to convert, regardless of the format. The book will load up in the App… See screenshot below
Step 4: After the book loads up, right-click on the book then > Convert Books > Convert Individually See screenshot below
Step 5: Next, select the format you would love to convert it to (see image below) then convert. The conversion might take a minute, depending on the size of your book.
When the conversion is completed, check your ….\Documents\Calibre Library to see your newly converted file.

Can someone convert a book to epub as a whole or by each page.
It depends on the software.
Can’t it be downloaded to my smart phone? I did not see any smart phone in the list of devices that support the converter.
