I see life in the colours of nature,
In the beautiful band of the bright rainbow.
From the first peek of the sun at the crack of dawn,
to the silver rays of the moon in the night.
I see life in the colour of the fresh leaves and beauty of the skies,
in the beautiful twinkling of the many stars at night;
when the moon comes up and nocturnal sounds pervade the air,
In the tranquillity of the night, life resides.
I see life in the eyes of the baby,
as he sits by the door gargling happily.
In the undiluted innocence sparkling through his eyes,
as he takes his first, tentative steps on tiny, insistent feet.
I feel the life in the touch of raindrops,
on the feel of the cool breeze on warm skin;
as it caresses the body bringing coolness,
returning to the weary soul the feeling of life.
I see life each time I look in the mirror;
All around me life abounds.
I see life because I choose to,
I see life in “life”.
