A friend or a foe? A teacher or a punisher?
The counterpoise to a tipped scale
Invested with ubiquity
Your DNA, imprinted in every human activity
Humanity; a squirmish worm
By your sound
A garment worn by men
regarded foul
Even with your alluring nature
Great cities have tumbled
Yet, your monstrous presence
Hurt and hunt men
A presence, I misjudged
Until, I was taken under the wings
Of the seekers- who celebrate you
Once you were a farce, now
– A gracious gift by God
Viewed with my inner senses
In an awakened state
I journeyed through the pains
Inflicted on others
Then it dawned
To do to others
What you want to be done to you
True love cometh with experience
A realization, granted
Through a golden path
That turned my dreaded old foe
To a friend
Karma,
I offer my unreserved apology
For past eons, I demonised thee
I respect thee in the finest hour
celebrate you in moments
For your worthy admirers
Shall rise,
In our devotion and love
For God
