‘Lit Events’ is our new column where we’ll feature literary events taking place between now and next week. Basically, it will be a guide to book readings, book launches, festivals and other literary-type events or unrelated events we think you might be interested in. We will be on the look-out for more events, so check back here for updates.
What: Abuja Literary Festival (aka #ALitFest), a platform aimed at connecting literary creatives with readers, the wider public and all those involved in the production and consumption of the culture of literacy. Dike-Ogu Chukwumerije will be performing at this year’s edition.

What: Book Launch For Bukola Ayinde’s books. Bukola Ayinde is mom to a special needs child, whose books are aimed at teaching kids about showing empathy tom those with disabilities.
