You’ve heard of how awesome we are at OkadaBooks and finally, you want to join in on the fun. Don’t worry, you’re not late, there’s still plenty of room for you and your friends (so please invite them). This simple, step-by-step guide will help you navigate OkadaBooks as a first-timer and let you party with books non-stop. From romance to crime, to thriller, to SciFi, whatever your favorite bok genre is, OkadaBooks has got you covered.
The following steps will help you get started:
Step 2: Launch the app and follow the prompts to register using either your email address or your Facebook account.
Step 3: Click the PROFILE button on the down-right side of the app screen, then click the REFILL button to top up your account.
Step 4: Add the amount of money you wish to refill your account with. You can do so following any of these three ways:
- You may use a DEBIT or CREDIT CARD to add money to your OkadaBooks account through Paystack.
- AIRTIME TRANSFER
- BANK TRANSFER
NB: The first option instantly refills your account, while the other two are subject to a manual confirmation process before your refill request is approved. You are expected to fill out the refill form immediately after your transfer to help speed up the process. The refill form can be found on the same page (#4).
Step 5: Return to the homepage, click the HOME button at the down-left side of the app screen to do so. Next, click the SEARCH ICON at the top-right side of the app screen to search for your desired book. With your account refilled, you can now proceed to buy any book(s) of your choice.
Not sure which book to buy? Start with our recommended reads.
Step 6: Go back to the LIBRARY menu in the App. There you’ll see all the books you’ve bought and can read them without being connected to the internet.
