Nnedi Okorafor is a Nigerian-American writer whose amazing talents have won her several awards like Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature in Africa, Nebula Award for Best Novella and The World Fantasy Award amongst others.

She recently announced on Instagram that she will be writing the comic book for Marvel’s new series, SHURI. It is based on Shuri, a character from Black Panther. She is the technologically savvy sister of T’Challa, the king of Wakanda (Black Panther).
