Brothers killing brothers;
Countries differ, albeit,
Blood from the same father shared,
Suckled from a mother’s bosom .
If brothers conflict to death on mundane ordinances,
Strangers inherit their heaven.
Soil is colored black for reason.
The clouds cannot foe the sky
Nor the water against the ocean stand
To go against nature; defy God
Collapses earth.
As the moment draws close
From thither now hither,
Fathers killing fathers
Mothers upon still bodies, wail
We have lost Africa
