Karanta Cikin Hausa - Read in English

Darkness
Silence
Scowls of wickedness
In the deathly quietness
Of the valley of nothingness

Here I am in a place of plenty spaces
Set in a game of endless races
Sweating, panting, hurting
There is anywhere
And then everywhere
But there is nowhere

Where life gets scary and absurd
Yet, I cannot abscond
I’m brought down to humbleness
Under the weight of emptiness

Here I am with a broken heart
And bulging eyes
Red and swollen
From years of tears
Screeches of doom
Lashes of fate
Helpless I remain
Feeding my pain

Boredom becomes my friend
Together the darkness we tread
Till I get to the darkest end
Wherein I’m stuck somewhere
In between anywhere and everywhere

In nowhere
I’m here
I’m there
I’m anywhere
I’m everywhere
As long as it is nowhere,

I’m somewhere;
In the darkness and silence
In the scowls of wickedness
In the deathly quietness
Of the valley of nothingness

I’m everywhere in nowhere
