Karanta Cikin Hausa - Read in English

I wish a better tomorrow was the next day
Cause my mind aches from expectancy
My heart from broken promises

And my eyes from strain, trying to view if tomorrow was close by.
Although they say, we are not of this world but why are we in this world.
Cause I believe there is a dent in the saying “what goes around comes around”

Politicians with failed promises without appropriate apologies.
Fake prophecies with no change to show for it.
We are at a juncture where money now funds prophecies.
Oh! what a world I exclaim.
