The recently dethroned Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi owns books worth over 200 million Naira, according to his principal private secretary, Mujtaba Abba.
Anyone who’s heard the former CBN governor talk already knows how eloquent and progressive in thoughts he is, so him having over 40,000 books and journals in his personal library shouldn’t be much of a shocker.

With everything that’s happened to Sanusi this week, Abba, who recently resigned as the Falakin of Kano, had the task of ensuring those books leave the palace to safety, a job he claims has been accomplished.
He said:
“His Highness’s (Sanusi) greatest concern was the fate of his books, so my sister and I stayed behind to ensure that we evacuated all the books. It took us sleepless nights to accomplish the task in two days.
“I made most of the transactions for the purchase of the books, and I can tell you, in a conservative estimate, they’re worth over N200m.”
Well done, Abba!
Oh Wow! My dream room.
