Karanta Cikin Hausa - Read in English

There lived a girl, Anna by name. She always dreamt of making lots of money and taking care of her loved ones. She thought that if she finally gets a job that pays a hundred, that it would be the start. Little did she know life was not a fairy tale neither is she a Disney princess.

She got her first job at a pharmacy and was told the pay is twenty thousand. She felt bad because that’s a huge difference from hundred thousand. It could barely take care of her more less her loved ones. She felt devastated and finally realized

“I am Nigerian, what was I expecting?”

She thought to herself. She still couldn’t give up so she joined anything that promises money in return. From networking to numerous online affiliate businesses but no result.

Then she said

“God just ten million and I will be more than grateful, I don’t ask for the whole world, please”.

But nothing happened and she just focused on her job and still hoped, dreamt and wished. Who knows what the future holds for her.
