Karanta Cikin Hausa - Read in English

In this book, “Single, Married and Safe” The Author, Tola-Francis Olabanjo, and Co-author,  Tolu Olabanjo, addressed salient issues centered on practical and blunt realities with Scriptural backings that are scarcely mentioned on the pulpits, enriched with common problems and solution that people ignore as single or married.

For the Singles, it is an Instructor and a guide because God does not give suggestion but Instruction. For the married, it is an enlightenment which spells out that no two marriages are the same, and an eye-opener to little situations or event that rob the peace and joy of a home.

Tola-Francis in one of the chapters shared a blunt truth on having a child out of wedlock, and scriptural references on how it is not a sin. In his excerpt he writes; “Jesus was obviously birthed without sin. But Jesus was conceived when Mary was not married. Thus an out of wedlock pregnancy is clearly not a sin. Premarital sex is.”

The Authors in all their write-ups were practical, controversial and blunt. Their vivid insights into facts that are happening in marriages yet hidden to the world are amazing.

Tolu writes in one of her excerpts “Never buy into the idea that it is me, my husband, and I against the world. It should be yourself, your husband, his mother, his father, his sisters and brothers and their spouses. You are safe when they are included in your battle against the world.”

For the Single mothers, it’s an encouragement to you that God anticipates our mistakes and there is nothing we do in this life that will shock God. Therefore, stop condemning and forgive yourself because you might not have planned it, but God does as there is no accidental birth.
