As a writer, your routine probably already includes a lot of distancing from the general public for you to really get into your element and birth art. This means the major difference for you, now, is that staying at home is not fully your choice. And you don’t like being told what to do.

Here are 4 easy-to-follow tips to help you keep it together and continue working on that future bestseller the post-Covid-19 world can’t wait to read.

1. Stay Away From Fake News: There are people who enjoy causing chaos and they thrive in times like this because there’s an eager audience waiting to hear the latest breaking news, whether good or bad. Don’t let that include you. Follow only official news media outlets and let bad energy stay far away from you.

2. Simple Meditation: Taking deep breaths and reflecting on all the good thoughts of your life can make all the difference. Clear your mind, focus on the positives, this, too, shall pass.

3. Face Time: Humanity’s strength mostly comes from the time spent with loved ones and the memories made. Well, thanks to technology, staying socially distant doesn’t have to mean socially isolated. Stay in touch with your friends and family.

4. Go Outside: Wait. This doesn’t mean you should head back into the hot zones, that’ll defeat the entire purpose of the stay-at-home movement. You can take a walk around your compound, away from others, under the open air and reach of direct sunlight, that’s not prohibited and it’ll do wonders for your positivity levels.

I hope this gets you pumping again. Covid-19 won’t be the end of humanity, we won’t let it.

Stay safe and happy.
