As I watch you sleeping, in childlike innocence,
A smile crosses my lips, two tears drop from my eyes,
Tears of contentment, joy, pride and happiness,
My perfect love you are lovelier than dotted butterflies.
Having made a commitment to be your shelter,
No easy feat for a guy, who gets lost in a crowd,
But I am at ease, due to this benevolent cloud,
Made secured in the arms of our heavenly Father.
A smile on your face, as I pen these and the above,
Your perfect teeth, as beautiful and strong as ivory,
The clock ticks as I watch, with you I am in no hurry,
A day with you adds wings to the definition of Love.
